Working title of magazine: Mute





Target audience-demographic: My target audience will be teenagers aged 16-19 boys and girls, but I feel that boys will be more interested in the magazine because of the different interests.





Target audience-psychographic: My magazine will include music interests, any types of hobbies people enjoy and other interests. The magazine will be a ideal read for people who enjoy indie music and just general rock music.

Price point: £1.49 I chose this price because i think it is quite reasonable and most of the music magazines I looked at were around £1.50 to £2.00 so I chose to go a little bit lower to make it look cheaper.

Week or monthly: My magazine will come out once a month because i feel that this will make more people read it as they will have to wait for where as if one came out every week they might get bored of it.

Content: For the content of my magazine it will mainly be music based, but it will have other catorgories in like sports pages, and gossip. Most of the magazine will be talking about all the good new music coming out and recomended new bands and new upcoming bands that the reader might be interested in. There will be a section for the latest gossip about all the bands and new music they might be bringing out.

Style: The style of my magazine will be quite modern and up to date I was going to go for quite bright colours to make it stand out and grab the readers attention but not so bright that its too in your face.

USP or position in the market: There is quite a lot of magazines that are music based for example NME, kerrang and Q, so it would be quite hard for mine too stand out so thats why I have included sports and different hobbies and interests.
